T-Town photo of the day: The Tuscaloosa Public Library

In addition to the University of Alabama, Stillman College and Shelton State Community College have campus libraries that are open for use to the public, The Tuscaloosa Public Library has over 200,000 items on catalog.

There are currently three branches within the city limits:

Brown Branch

Jack-Warner Branch

Weaver-Bolden Branch

Home to 7,000 students, overall, Shelton State has two campuses: Martin Campus off Alabama Highway 69 south of Tuscaloosa in the unincorporated suburb of Taylorville, near the 'Bama Mini Golf Course, and C.A. Fredd campus on Martin Luther King, Jr., Boulevard in west Tuscaloosa.
